The good people over at BoingBoing.net had a funny post about a mystery piece of chocolate that found it’s way into a 2011 advent calendar. As with most advent/chocolate calendars, there are 24 or 25 pieces of chocolate behind little doors (one for each day counting to Christmas).
From their post:
This looks vaguely skull-like, or an H.P. Lovecraft monster, maybe. I don’t know if the picture above is upside down, sideways or right side up. I have a feeling the readers of Boing Boing will be able to figure out what it is pretty quickly, though. And then it will snap into clarity. Or maybe not.
My guess is on a snake dragon-squirrel Santa Claus. Any thoughts as to what it could possibly be?

Hmmm … think I saw this chocolate somewhere else. It looks like someone had it to close to the chestnut-roasting-open-fire.
Looks like a holly leaf to me.
