Getting Ready for the Holidays

Do ahead what can be done ahead! A lot of staging and assembly can be done well ahead of the official decorating.

Try to take one or two projects per week to prepare. Start early with lists: gift to purchase, house projects, decorating, baking, and entertaining.

Keep the holiday list separate by merging them with your master weekly to do list.

Words to Live by CalendarNovember 13th is World Kindness Day! Introduced by the World Kindness Movement in the ’90s, this holiday is really spreading around the world. It’s observed in several countries, such as Canada, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, and United Arab Emirates.

The purpose of this holiday is to spread a positive energy in the community by performing good deeds and focusing on the kindness within each of us.

A Look Back at Our 15th Anniversary

This month Calendars.com celebrated its 15th anniversary on October 18th. Take a look back at all of this month’s special events before the celebration is over.

15 Minutes of Fun Week 1

We started off the festivities with a very special Flip Day asking our fans to pledge 15 minutes of fun every day this month to celebrate 15 years of service. Even if you didn’t take the pledge this month, try to incorporate 15 minutes of fun to your schedule every day.

This October marks the 15th anniversary of Calendars.com. 15 years. Wow.

Our First Customer Visits Calendars.com

On October 17th, we invited our first customer Helen Savage to visit us at our headquarters in Austin, Texas, to celebrate our 15th anniversary.

To commemorate the occasion, we presented her with a certificate for Free Calendars for Life and a gift basket of her favorite Calendars.com items. For the celebration, Helen brought her two daughters, Linda and Georgia, and her best friend, Nancy, to meet the Calendars.com staff.
