March 5 is National Multiple Personality Day!
Today is a great day to bring to light the oft stigma-attached issue of mental illness. Multiple Personality Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is a mental disease in which a person exhibits two or more defined and recurring identities.
National Multiple Personality Day is a day to spread awareness, but also to celebrate and embrace the slight multiple personalities we all have. So, talk to yourself without fear of being judged today and may your personalities live in harmony.
